AESTEC Services is an Australian owned Civil Construction and Maintenance Company, based in Gladstone Queensland.
The AESTEC Story
Founded in 2005 Doug Deakin and Ben Matthews opened AESTEC Services to service the local Gladstone Industry. In 2016 Doug & Roxanne Deakin became the sole owners of the organisation.
It all began in a home office in 2005, because of the growth of the business in 2011 AESTEC built the head office on Benaraby Road, Gladstone and relocated the entire operation to one premises.
To offer a holistic approach to the services for our clients, an expansion of the head office was needed. This included a state of the art fabrication workshop along with the mobile maintenance workshop, allowing us to develop our own service team to maintain the AESTEC fleet of vehicles and machinery.
Today AESTEC Services is the proud employer of 300 local employees across a multitude of trades and skill backgrounds. We have assisted 30 Apprentices to complete their trade qualifications including dual trades. In 2023 AESTEC’s apprentice program has taken on an additional 9 apprentices, 2 Adult and 7 school leavers.
The growth in business has allowed AESTEC to support the local community including Gladstone Engineering Alliance, Boyne Tannum Hookup, The Art Gallery Gladstone Hospital and many sporting groups and organisations.

ACCREDITATIONS
AESTEC Services achieves independently certified ISO Management System standards for Quality, Safety and Environment. The management system ensures our project works are carried out effectively, safely, efficiently and within legislative and regulatory requirements.
